Unboxing July’s Aloha Glossybox

Unboxing July’s Aloha Glossybox

26th July 2020 0 By Rachael Stray

The postie delivering my monthly treat of goodies from Glossybox is such a highlight particularly during lockdown and I couldn’t wait for summery vibes with the July Aloha box.

This month’s box is a special edition, Hawaii themed box which is really gorgeous and I love the contents!

For those of you who are new to Glossybox it is a monthly beauty box subscription that is delivered right to your door. Details of how to sign up for yourself are at the end of this post. If you use my referral link you will receive 20% off your first box.

What was inside July’s Glossybox?

Kocostar Watermelon Slice Mask Sheet RRP £4

These Korean face masks are infused with natural strawberry extracts. They provide your complexion with an intense burst of moisture and hydration that helps to protect your skin barrier.

To use apply yours onto clean, dry skin for 15 to 20 minutes, then peel off and massage the excess serum into your skin.

I couldn’t wait to try this so used it straight away, I would’ve preferred a proper sheet mask that covers your whole face if I’m honest.

It did smell lovely and my skin did feel really soft and lovely but it’s a shame not my full face!

Give Them Lala Aloha Bronzer RRP £19.80

The packaging is just beautiful for this bronzer. Show off a natural-looking, sun-kissed tan thanks to this bronzer.

Boasting a long-wearing and highly-pigmented formula, it glides effortlessly onto your skin to give you that bronzed goddess look. Use a large fluffy brush to apply it along your hairline, down your cheekbones and across your jaw.

This will be perfect for your makeup bag for the summer whether you’re jetting off or having a staycation.

NAOBAY Hand Orange Juice Hand Lotion 100ml (Beauty Box) RRP £6.97

This luscious hand cream smells of freshly squeezed orange juice – so fresh. Blending shea butter, chamomile, Aloe vera, and orange water, this intensely moisturising formula infuses your skin with revitalising nutrients and vitamins that will leave it feeling soft and regenerated.

To use massage it into your hands and nails throughout the day when required.

We’re all washing our hands more than ever due to the current pandemic so a good hand cream is an essential bedside product.

I’ve really liked the Naobay products from previous Glossyboxes so I can’t wait to use this.

Jecca Blac Glow Drops Primer RRP £16

These multi-tasking glow drops not only prime your skin and create a glowing base ready for makeup application, but they hydrate your skin too.

To use simply spread the primer evenly onto your face using your fingertips, then apply your base makeup over the top. A gorgeous, dewy radiance awaits! I can’t wait to try this.

EYEKO SPORT WATERPROOF MASCARA

I had a substituted product in this month’s box which was meant to be the Palm Balm from The Beauty Crop but I wasn’t too disappointed. A waterproof mascara is always welcome especially this smaller sized one that’s perfect for your travel makeup bag.

Despite having a substituted product I really like this box, it’s a good balance and I think I will use every single product myself. Keep up to date with my mini reviews on my Instagram feed!
