Unboxing December’s collectors edition Glossybox
With the party season kicking off I was really looking forward to some pampering treats in my final Glossybox of the year.
The December 2017 box arrived on Saturday morning and features five full-sized, brilliant products housed in a beautifully designed box by Dusty Boy.

Mince pies starry skies – December’s Glossybox
This month is a collector’s edition themed around getting you party ready so it’s make-up heavy, with three make-up products, two bits of skincare and a yummy chocolate treat too.
I didn’t hesitate in trying the products as I had a night out with the girls on Saturday to celebrate my friend Catherine’s birthday.
What is in the December Glossybox?
Naobay Equilibria Gel to Milk Cleanser
This is worth £15.99 and contains organic olive oil and almond oils. I love cleansers, especially at this time of year when I think your skin needs some extra TLC.
Naobay has featured in Glossybox a few times and I’ve never been disappointed with the brand. I used it when I got home after a night with a heavy madeup face. This cleanser is gentle but effective and really lovely to use.
Laqa & Co Cloud Lips in ‘Daydream’
This is worth £12.70. I was so excited to try it and I wasn’t disappointed! I’ve seen this brand all over social media but hadn’t tried any products yet. The packaging is gorgeous – I really love rose gold and it looks premium.
I tried this lipstick on Saturday night and it’s really pigmented and really has amazing staying power. My husband thought I’d had a misdemeanour in the bathroom as my electric toothbrush was a little bit stained – luckily it wiped off the next morning!
This is a matte liquid lipstick which is a much darker nude shade and I really like it. It’ll be in my handbag for the rest of the party season.

Contents of December’s Glossybox
Soaper Duper Rich and Creamy Shea Butter Body Wash
Worth £6.50, this is a shower gel packed full of all natural ingredients. It contains vanilla pods, monoi oil and shea butter and smells heavenly.
It’s a handy smaller size which is ideal for me to use when I’m travelling for work. I used this when getting ready on Saturday night and it left me feeling clean and fresh and happy that it doesn’t contain any nasty ingredients.
Model Co 3D Lash Primer
This is worth £7. I’d never used a lash primer before so was looking forward to trying it out. As with any primer this is meant to be used before you apply your main makeup product ie your normal mascara. It claims to give you fuller and longer lashes.
Eager to try it out I applied it on Saturday night while getting ready and I did notice a difference. I thought my mascara was easier to apply and didn’t flake off by the end of the night as well as making my lashes appear thicker and longer. Happy days!
Steve Laurant Precision Tip Eyeliner
In dreamy rose gold packaging, this eyeliner is worth £18. It’s meant to be delicate and precise and I think it will give a seriously good eyeliner flick (if you’re skilled in eyeliner application).
Unfortunately I am absolutely rubbish with eyeliner so this may be gifted to a lucky friend.
I think this box is fantastic value for money and bar the eyeliner I‘ve really enjoyed the products so far!

Lovely post! I am actually looking for box sets that offer cruelty-free products only. Is glossybox cruelty-free?
I think lots of the products are but I don’t think every box is 100% cruelty free. They’d definitely bang the drum for that I would say.
Hahah oki thanks though 😍
It looks like you got some amazing things! I’ve never heard of any of these brands. Has this been your favorite subscription box?
It’s the only beauty subscription box I’ve had. I really like it. I’ve also had a razor subscription box but didn’t like it so cancelled it.
My daughter would LOVE this!!
This box sounds amazing. The products all seem very good.
Wow! That’s a great box! I love it! 😊😍
