My overall thoughts on The Good Neighbor

I read this book in one day while Elsie napped – I couldn’t put it down.

There’s some twists and turns you’re not expecting.

The story is told by different characters which gives reader different perspectives.

As the story unfolds you find yourself wanting to quickly turn each page to find out what has happened to Brittany.

Was she kidnapped? Did she run away? Why are her parents so odd?

Some chapters are from Brittany herself and we also go back in time too which gives readers more insight and raises more questions.

This is a tense and gripping read and at times I was finding myself holding my breath in sheer anticipation.

This is a good mystery story with some characters embroiled in secrets and lies which start to unravel as the drama ramps up.

I won’t give away any spoilers but this book really made me think how well do you know your neighbours and how far will people go to cover up their secrets.
