13 years of research have resulted in a book offering a comprehensive collection of anniversary facts together with gift ideas and inspiration.
It covers every year up to 25 and then every 5 years after that up to 100 in detail.
It contains 40 original watercolour paintings and extensive research on all of the anniversary items associated with each year.
My overall thoughts on The Anniversary Book
I am rubbish at remembering what appropriate gift corresponds with the right year when it comes to anniversary gifts so this is a great book for me!
Each of its 98 pages is filled with fun and interesting facts which can be referenced for many years to come.
The 40 original watercolour paintings inside are stunningly beautiful.
The book is hardback and has a premium gloss finish to its jacket.
I think this is a great gift idea itself, it’s such a gorgeous book that is perfect for the coffee table and means you never have to panic buy an anniversary gift again (providing you remember the date that is).
It covers every year up to 25 and then every five years after that up to 100 in detail.
At the end of the book is a super useful summary of all the years and associated items along with a place to write your own thoughts and notes.
Steve and I are celebrating our four year wedding anniversary this year and thankfully The Anniversary Book landed on my doorstep a good month before; so I could find out what present to buy him.
FYI – four years is linen so I bought him a really lovely tie from Marks and Spencer, he wears a tie every day for work (when he isn’t working from home that is) and I wanted it to be a practical gift. I also got him some luxury Belgian chocolate biscuits as he’s a fiend for biscuits!
It’s a really lovely book and one I will keep referring back to over the years I am sure.
