Unboxing September glossy spa Glossybox

Unboxing September glossy spa Glossybox

20th September 2020 0 By Rachael Stray

The September Glossybox had a glossy spa theme which is perfect as the weather starts to turn and you find yourself wanting cosy nights in.

When Autumn arrives I always think it’s time to start taking longer hot baths, drinking hot chocolate and wearing cosy knitwear.

As the temperature starts to drop my skin always needs a little extra TLC so the spa edition of Glossybox was something I was excited about.

The September 2020 Glossybox contains five products, with all five focusing on skin and body care and as an extra indulgent treat the box also contained a bar of delicious Lindt chocolate.

For those of you who are new to Glossybox it is a monthly beauty box subscription that is delivered right to your door. Details of how to sign up for yourself are at the end of this post. If you use my referral link you will receive 20% off your first box.

What was inside September’s glossy spa Glossybox?

Avant Skincare Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti‐oxidising Duo Moisturiser RRP £89

Avant skincare is a pretty pricey brand, this Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti‐oxidising Duo Moisturiser, is worth £89!

Described as being the product which is going to revolutionise your skin!

It is infused with hyaluronic acid and avocado oils that hydrate and soften your skin, while also reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub RRP £9

The Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub is a product I have seen people rave about, so I am looking forward to giving it a try.

With a lightweight milky texture, this scrub is without exfoliation beads or sugar particles, instead it relies on fruit extracts – namely Papaya and Pineapple – to work alongside both AHA and BHA acids which come together to give your skin a really good, effective scrub while being gentle.

Imperial Leather Showergel RRP £1.50

If you are familiar with these products, you will know that the gel turns to a foam on contact with the skin, similar to shaving gel.

What I love about these is that you only need a little amount to create a lot of lather!

This one happens to smell divine too, golden amber and coconut oil – lovely!

Minetan Coffee Scrub RRP £11

I am a big coffee scrub fan, Frank Body being my ultimate favourite but I’m looking forward to giving this Minetan one a try.

This scrub is infused with ingredients such as Sweet Almond Oil and Macadamia Oil to ensure your skin remains hydrated and conditioned and the inclusion of freshly ground coffee which helps to target those areas of dryness and flakiness for a softer, more even skin texture.

Generation Skin Eye Mask RRP £7.84

This restoring eye mask is formulated with Kakadu plum, an Australian superfood, that is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.

It helps to reduce the appearance of dark circles, even out your skin tone and visibly energise your under-eye area.

Apply them onto clean, dry skin for 15 minutes.

Really looking forward to testing these out especially as Elsie is teething at the moment so sleepless nights are back with a vengeance!

Overall I’m happy with the September Glossybox.

Long hot indulgent baths are such a treat and definitely perk me up as the nights draw in and the temperature starts to drop.

I’m looking forward to giving all of these goodies a go.
