Unboxing May’s wild side Glossybox

Unboxing May’s wild side Glossybox

20th May 2020 3 By Rachael Stray

May’s Glossybox was a special wild side edition box designed to embrace your wild side.

There were two special design boxes – the leopard print or zebra patterned box. I received the zebra wild side Glossybox variation 13.

This month’s box featured five full sized beauty products.

For those of you who are new to Glossybox it is a monthly beauty box subscription that is delivered right to your door. Details of how to sign up for yourself are at the end of this post. If you use my referral link you will receive 20% off your first box.

What was inside May’s wild side Glossybox?

Steve Laurant eyeshadow palette

Steve Laurant eyeshadow palette (full size RRP £3)

Boasting nine creamy and intense shades, all you need to do is build and blend them to achieve your desired effects. The palette features smooth pigments, shimmery dark colours and soft matt hues.

You can create a subtle day look or a sultry evening design.

Both special design boxes feature the same hues, the outer packaging will match the design of your box, so mine looked like the zebra!

I really like the colours and the smaller size of the palette means its handbag friendly.

Oh K SOS printed sheet mask

Oh k! SOS printed sheet mask (full size RRP £4?

I received a charcoal powder face mask and couldn’t wait to see which animal it was!

To use apply the mask to a clean face for 10-20 minutes, gentle peel off and massage the remaining serum into your skin.

I’m a big fan of face masks so couldn’t wait to try this one out.

Mudmasky hair mask scalp treatment & miracle shampoo

Mudmasky hair mask, scalp treatment & miracle shampoo (full size RRP £21)

This newly-launched 3-in-1 treatment will tame dry, damaged and firzzy hair.

It’s formulated with Moroccan argon oil, mud and flowers. Firstlly it moisturises the skin ony our scalp, then repairs, hydrates and strengthens your hair.

To use massage onto your wet scalp and hair, leave it for a minute and then rinse for healthy beautiful locks in no time.

My hair hasn’t been it’s usual thick soft self since I had Elsie so I’ve been using and enjoying the hair masks from the previous Glossyboxes and couldn’t wait to try this!

EOS sphere lip balm

EOS sphere lip balm RRP (full size £6.50)

This lip balm is full of nourishing and soothing ingredients like shea butter, vitamin E and jojoba oil. This natural lip balm will deeply hydrate and condition your lips. I received the pomegranate and raspberry flavour.

I don’t think you can have enough lip balms and I really like that you can apply this without using your fingers.

Stargazer glitter eyeliner pencil

Stargazer glitter eye pencil RRP (full size £2)

This is my least favourite product in the box as I’m just not a fan of eyeliners so will give this one away. There was a choice of 6 shades and I received the mauve shade.

The eye pencil features highly pigmented formula with a sprinkle of glitter scattered through.

To use apply along your upper lash line and blend it out.

Overall I’m really happy with the wild thing May Glossybox. Another treat for my hair, a gorgeous eyeshadow palette, a handy lip balm and a face mask. The eyeliner will be a gift for a friend I think.
