Unboxing June’s World of Beauty Glossybox

Unboxing June’s World of Beauty Glossybox

21st June 2020 1 By Rachael Stray

There’s not much to look forward to during lockdown but my monthly Glossybox is definitely a highlight, June was a World of Beauty themed box.

This month’s box featured five full sized beauty products.

For those of you who are new to Glossybox it is a monthly beauty box subscription that is delivered right to your door. Details of how to sign up for yourself are at the end of this post. If you use my referral link you will receive 20% off your first box.

What was inside June’s Glossybox?

Beautaniq Beauty Guardian Angel Eye Mask (RRP £5)

First up is this eye mask from London based brand Beautaniq Beauty. Plant-based and cruelty-free, this natural skincare brand has everything that you need to give your complexion a pampering treat and this Guardian Angel Eye Mask is a good place to start. Ideal for tired and overworked eyes, they help to brighten, depuff and hydrate in just 15 minutes. I cannot wait to try this!

ModelCo Liquid Metal Eyeshadow in Down-Under (RRP £15)

This is another full-size product, this time from ModelCo. This is a Liquid Metal Eyeshadow in the shade Down-Under. It is a highly pigmented formula with a beautiful iridescent glow. You can apply it all over the lid for a statement look, or sweep it across the lash line for a touch of glamour. I’ve already had a quick try and it’s really nice with brown eyes.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Makeup Removing Cloths (RRP £7.99)

This next product is from The Vintage Cosmetic Company, a 1950s inspired British brand and features a very cool leopard print style. These makeup removing cloths are super soft to gently cleanse, exfoliate and of course, remove all traces of makeup from your face. You can use them with just water too, so they’re a brilliant eco-friendly alternative to face wipes and can be reused again and again. Simply pop them in the wash after each use! I ditched makeup removing face wipes earlier this year and I will never go back.

LA Splash Cosmetics Brush Set (RRP £15)

LA Splash Cosmetics has this duo set of eyeshadow brushes that you can try some new looks with. The fluffy brush is great for blending eyeshadow all over the lid, while the densely packed angled brush is perfect for sweeping on eyeliner or smudging out your waterline.

HudaBeauty Life-Liner in Very Vanta (RRP £18)

This is a full-size HudaBeauty Life-Liner, dual-ended eyeliner. One end has a liquid liner and the other end has a creamy pencil for all your favourite flicks and cat-eye looks. As I’m not an eyeliner fan this will be gifted to a friend I think.

Overall I think this June box is great. The cloths will definitely be part of my cleansing ritual once I’m back to wearing makeup again! I’m looking forward to giving the eye mask a whirl.
