Unboxing August Sunset Serenity Glossybox

The August Sunset Serenity Glossybox is all about embracing those long summer days, golden evenings and a little bit of time for yourself.

Think sunlit mornings, tropical scents, glossy lips and a bit of pampering — basically, everything I want from a summer beauty box.

And the timing couldn’t have been better.

My August Glossybox arrived just in time for my holiday, so I packed the goodies straight into my case and took them away with me.

There are some beauty boxes that arrive and you immediately know you’re going to love them… and August’s Glossybox was definitely one of those!

I genuinely loved every single product in this month’s box, and there was a great mix of makeup, skincare and body products.

So, let’s have a look at what was inside…

BYOMA Liptide Lip Oil

First up is the BYOMA Liptide Lip Oil, and this was an instant favourite.

I’m a big fan of anything that gives you glossy, hydrated lips without feeling sticky, so this lightweight lip oil was right up my street.

It contains BYOMA’s peptide-rich Liptide Complex alongside avocado and tamanu oils to nourish, soften and hydrate the lips, leaving them with a lovely soft sheen.

It feels really comfortable to wear and gives that effortless glossy lip look that works perfectly for summer — whether you’re heading to the beach, sitting by the pool or enjoying an evening drink.

Dr.PAWPAW Tropical Haze Hair & Body Mist

If a product smells like summer, I’m sold!

The Dr.PAWPAW Tropical Haze Hair & Body Mist has a gorgeous tropical fragrance combining juicy fruits with creamy coconut. It instantly gives me holiday vibes.

It can be used on both your hair and body and is lightweight and quick drying, leaving behind a delicate scent without feeling heavy.

I loved having this in my holiday bag. It’s the sort of product you can spritz on after getting ready, after a day in the sun or before heading out for the evening.

Saint Luxe Clear Brow Gel

Next up is the Saint Luxe Clear Brow Gel, which is one of those simple little products that can make a big difference to your makeup.

The clear formula shapes and sets your brows without adding any colour, while the precision brush makes it easy to tame those little hairs and keep everything in place.

I love a polished but low-maintenance summer makeup look, so a clear brow gel is perfect for creating that groomed look without needing loads of makeup.

And because it’s clear, it’s also really easy to throw into your makeup bag for holidays.

Avant Ultimate Hyaluronic Acid Resurfacing DUO Moisturiser

The skincare addition to this month’s box is the Avant Ultimate Hyaluronic Acid Resurfacing DUO Moisturiser.

This is one of Avant’s bestsellers and is designed to be used both morning and night.

It combines ingredients designed to hydrate, brighten the appearance of dull skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I always appreciate getting skincare in Glossybox because it gives me the chance to try something I might not necessarily pick up myself.

And after a day in the sun, keeping your skin hydrated is definitely high on my list.

BEAUTYPRO Bakuchiol Facial Sheet Mask

Finally, we have the BEAUTYPRO Bakuchiol Facial Sheet Mask — and this was another lovely addition to my holiday beauty stash.

The 15-minute K-Beauty-inspired treatment uses bakuchiol, a natural retinol alternative, to help support skin renewal while hydrating and balancing the skin.

It’s designed to be suitable for sensitive, reactive and dry skin and aims to improve the appearance of fine lines, texture and radiance without the potential irritation associated with retinol.

There’s nothing better than putting on a sheet mask when you’re on holiday and having 15 minutes to completely switch off.

My August Glossybox verdict

Honestly, I think August’s Sunset Serenity Glossybox was the perfect holiday box.

The timing was spot on because it arrived just before I went away, and every single product found its way into my suitcase.

From the glossy BYOMA lip oil and tropical Dr.PAWPAW mist to the brow gel, skincare and relaxing sheet mask, it felt like a really well-curated selection for summer.

I also loved that there was a mixture of products I could use every day alongside a few little treats that made getting ready and winding down on holiday feel that bit more special.

I genuinely loved every single product in this month’s Glossybox, which doesn’t always happen with beauty boxes!

The Sunset Serenity theme really did live up to its name, bringing a little bit of sunshine, pampering and holiday feeling into my beauty routine.

Now I just need to book another holiday so I can use them all again!
