I’ve been using The Body Shop Drops of Youth, Youth Liquid Peel for a while now so thought it was time to share an honest review.

The Body Shop have recently rebranded the Drops of Youth range into the Edelweiss range.

My overall thoughts on The Body Shop Drops of Youth, Youth Liquid Peel

I’ve been using The Body Shop Drops of Youth, Youth Liquid Peel 1-2 times a week (as recommended) and I noticed a difference immediately.

I tried it out after seeing rave reviews online and finally bought it myself thanks to a gift voucher and I’m now onto my third bottle!

The texture and overall ‘glow’ of my skin seems to continuously improve with each use thanks to the peel’s surprisingly effective (yet gentle) exfoliating abilities.

Even after the first use I was impressed, my skin skin felt super clean!

It also helps to reduce the redness and severity of my spots when they pop up and in some instances totally eradicated some!

The Body Shop Drops of Youth, Youth Liquid Peel comes in a convenient pump bottle.

Although the product itself looks green it’s actually colourless once applied to the face.

You apply the gel to the face and massage it in for 30-40 seconds and the gel transforms into little white rolls.

It’s weirdly satisfying!

Don’t massage in for any longer than this or your face could become quite irritated.

Despite the peel’s ability to ‘grab’ onto dead skin and other impurities, the good news is that it doesn’t pull on my facial fuzz.

The formula is also surprisingly easy to remove with a few wipes of a washcloth or facial sponge but do this gently so as to not over-stimulate your skin.

If you’re looking for a quick and gentle peel that provides an extra level of exfoliation and deep-cleansing, The Body Shop Drops of Youth, Youth Liquid Peel (now known as Edelweiss Liquid Peel) is worth trying out.

If you have particularly sensitive skin you may want to avoid this due to high alcohol content and added fragrances.
