The EasyMat MiniMax has been designed as an alternative ‘open-plate’ version of the EasyTots most loved award-winning weaning essential The EasyMat Mini divided happy face plate.
We are big fans of the EasyMat mini and recently reviewed the EasyTots unicorn mini mat.
Features of the EasyMat MiniMax
The EasyMat MiniMax is perfect for at home and feeding on the go.
It has the strongest suction power on the market.
EasyTots have retained all the winning features of the EasyMat Mini but added an extra-strong large central suction base, meaning that even if your baby beats the corner suckers they will not get past the strong central suction.
This product helps with getting starting weaning from 6 months right through to age 3.
It is made to fit most high chairs (check dimensions) universal fit for most high chairs (check dimensions if unsure) and a genius lunch box and plate in one.
Please note there is reduced suction capacity on wood and matt / bumpy finishes.
And as with other EasyTots products, the MiniMax is oven, dishwasher, and microwave-proof.
My overall thoughts on EasyTots EasyMat MiniMax
Very good suction is really important if you want to avoid the whole meal going the journey and avoid a big mess and the extra-large central suction is brilliant in addition to the four suction suckers – it has serious staying power!
As with the MiniMat the MiniMax comes with a lid cover and a zip lock case so you can pop into your bag without worrying about the mess if you’re eating on the go.
It is BPA Free and made of 100% LFGB food grade silicone.
The MiniMax is also dishwasher, oven (up to 200 degrees), and microwave proof which is fantastic.
Unlike some other popular weaning, dining ranges there’s no upkeep necessary with Easytots – no oiling or anything like that.
We have been using the MiniMax for several months now and we love it.

Elsie is really getting to grips with the cutlery which is the perfect size for little hands and the curved design helps them to actually get food onto the fork or spoon and into their mouths.
