Breakfast at Coast to Coast
Catching up with friends over good food is something I love to do and on a rare weekday off going for breakfast at Coast to Coast sounded like a great way to kick-start the weekend.
I’ve been to Coast to Coast a few times but never for breakfast.
My friend and her little one only had a few hours spare Friday morning so a breakfast catch up was on the menu.

Outside of Coast to Coast
We met at 10am and made our way into the restaurant where we were greeted at the entrance and shown to a table.
A friendly waitress took our orders and we were happy to hear we qualified for the two breakfasts for £10 offer.
Our hot drinks quickly followed and we started our long overdue catch up.
An Americano for my friend and a hot chocolate with lashings of whipped cream for me.

Before we knew it our breakfasts were placed in front of us.
We’d both plumped for the pancakes.
My friend went for the bacon, egg and maple flavour syrup pancakes.

Bacon, egg and maple flavour syrup pancakes
Three pancakes and eggs, crispy bacon and some sticky maple syrup went down a treat.
I decided to stick with the sweet treat theme and plumped for the strawberries and cream pancakes with a strawberry syrup which I could pour over my three pancakes.

The strawberries were sweet and the pancakes fluffy.
Perfect.
Our bill came to just shy of £16 which we felt was good value for money.
Considering it was half term the restaurant wasn’t too busy but had a nice atmosphere.
We didn’t feel like we were being rushed out by the friendly staff and enjoyed a lovely breakfast.
After a good chin wag we then headed to a couple of shops for some retail therapy.
I picked up some cotton wool and fluffy socks from Primark so I could get some change for my share of the bill.
We also headed to Boots where I made use of the 3 for 2 offer on makeup and skincare for the No7 range as well as spending my vouchers too.

Early defence eye cream, the full 360 mascara and Hydraluminous Moisturising Foundation
I saved a whopping £22 and I’m looking forward to trying out this new foundation which has received some really good reviews.
I usually use the No7 Stay Perfect foundation but having just finished the bottle thought I’d give this new one a whirl.

Hydraluminous Moisturising Foundation
I’ll do a review on my thoughts of the Hydraluminous Moisturising Foundation in a couple of weeks once I’ve put it to the test.
We said our goodbyes and I made my way to Pandora before heading home.
Steve’s parents kindly gave me a £50 voucher for my 30th birthday which I hadn’t spent yet.
The friendly sales assistant helped me make up my mind and I eventually opted for this pretty flower charm and these silver heart earrings to add to my Pandora collection.

Then I made my way home to wait in for the carpet fitter to arrive before heading out again for a night in with two of my best friends.
A flexi Friday off very well spent.
Overall thoughts on breakfast at Coast to Coast
The breakfast menu offers quite a lot from your breakfast classics, waffles as well as pancakes.
You can view the breakfast menu in full here.
The staff were friendly and polite and we had plenty of space in our booth for us, the pram and the baby too.
I was absolutely stuffed until late afternoon so the breakfast did the job right.

The food looks delicious! I recently discovered The Coffee Club on my holiday but we don’t have them in the UK unfortunately. The coffee was amazing!
It was really good and staff were so friendly and accommodating to allow us extra space and time as we had a baby with us.
Those sweet pancakes look delicious 🙂

Omg that looks so good! Thank goodness it’s breakfast time here!
Sounds like a fabulous day. Maybe Coast to Coast can expand to the US so I can have some of that yummy-looking food!
I was just thinking the other day how long it’s been since I’ve had pancakes! Those strawberry ones look so good.
