Unboxing July Summer Glow Up Glossybox
The July Summer Summer Glow Up Glossybox arrived just before another heatwave hit – perfect timing.
There’s something about a summer beauty box that instantly puts me in a good mood.
Maybe it’s the promise of glowy skin, fresh scents and products that make getting ready feel effortless, or perhaps it’s because summer beauty is all about enhancing what you’ve already got rather than piling on the makeup.
This month’s Glossybox Summer Glow Up is all about embracing that easy, radiant feeling with products designed to leave you looking polished without spending hours in front of the mirror.
From a viral liquid blush to luxury haircare and a nourishing body lotion, it’s a lovely mix of beauty staples that actually feel right for this time of year.
First Impressions
As soon as I opened this month’s box, I felt like Glossybox had really understood the assignment.
Rather than filling the box with products that only suit one skin type or beauty trend, this edit feels practical, wearable and genuinely useful.
Every product has a purpose, and together they create a simple summer beauty routine that works whether you’re heading on holiday, getting ready for brunch with friends or just trying to survive another warm day without your makeup sliding off by lunchtime.
With three full-sized products included, the value feels fantastic too.
Made by Mitchell Blursh Liquid Blusher (Full Size)

Without a doubt, this is the star of the box.
If you’ve spent any time scrolling TikTok or Instagram over the last year, you’ve probably seen Made by Mitchell’s famous Blursh blushes popping up everywhere.
I completely understand the hype.
The formula is beautifully creamy when first applied before setting into a soft-focus satin finish that genuinely looks like it’s part of your skin.
It’s incredibly pigmented, so you only need the tiniest dot on each cheek which means a little goes a long way, and it blends effortlessly with either a brush, sponge or your fingertips.
What I love most is how natural the finish looks. It gives that healthy, “I’ve just come back from a walk in the sunshine” flush that feels perfect for summer makeup.
Because it’s buildable, you can keep it soft for everyday wear or layer it for a more dramatic evening look.
This alone makes the box feel worthwhile.
What’s In It For Me? Cedarwood & Bergamot Body Lotion (Full Size)
Body lotion isn’t always the product I’m most excited to receive in a subscription box, but this one genuinely surprised me.
The fragrance instantly reminds me of walking into a luxury spa.
The combination of cedarwood, bergamot and lemon feels fresh and uplifting without being overpowering, while the subtle sea salt notes give it a lovely coastal feel.
The texture is lightweight enough for warmer weather and absorbs quickly, so you don’t have that sticky feeling afterwards.
It’s become the sort of product I reach for after an evening shower, especially when I want my skin to feel soft without using anything too heavy.
Sometimes it’s the simple products that end up becoming everyday favourites.
Molton Brown Purifying Shampoo & Conditioner with Indian Cress (Deluxe Sizes)

I always get excited when I see Molton Brown inside a beauty box.
It’s one of those brands that instantly feels luxurious, and these deluxe travel sizes couldn’t have arrived at a better time with holiday season in full swing.
The shampoo leaves hair feeling beautifully clean without stripping moisture, while the conditioner keeps everything soft and manageable.
The scent deserves its own mention too.
With jasmine, honeysuckle and sandalwood, it smells elegant and expensive, lingering gently in the hair long after washing.
They’re perfect for weekends away, overnight stays or simply trying the range before investing in the full-sized bottles.
Glossybox Beauty Blender (Full Size)

A beauty sponge might not be the most exciting reveal, but it’s definitely one of the most useful.
I actually love that Glossybox included this alongside the Made by Mitchell blush because the two work brilliantly together.
The sponge blends cream and liquid products beautifully, helping everything melt into the skin without streaks.
Whether you’re applying foundation, concealer or blush, it gives that seamless finish we’re all chasing.
It’s one of those products you don’t realise you need until your old one desperately needs replacing!
Is the July Glossybox Worth It?
For me, this is one of Glossybox’s strongest edits in quite a while.
Everything feels thoughtfully chosen around the Summer Glow Up theme, and nothing feels like filler.
The Made by Mitchell blush is easily the standout product and one I’ll continue reaching for long after summer ends, while the Molton Brown duo adds a lovely touch of luxury.
The body lotion encourages a little everyday self-care, and the beauty sponge ties the whole routine together perfectly.
If you’re already subscribed, I think you’ll be really pleased with this month’s selection.
If you’ve been thinking about trying Glossybox, July is actually a great box to start with.
My Final Thoughts
Absolutely.
If effortless summer beauty is your thing, this month’s Glossybox delivers exactly what it promises.
It’s practical, beautifully curated and full of products that are genuinely enjoyable to use rather than destined for the back of a drawer.
I’d love to know what your favourite product is if you’ve received this month’s box.
