Unboxing January new horizons Glossybox

The January new horizons Glossybox is the first of 2023 and it did not disappoint.

Delivery was back with Royal Mail this month following the industrial action in December and my Glossybox arrived right on time.

Unfortunately the QR code for the Glossymag didn’t work again which is becoming a bit of an annoying running theme.

The January new horizons Glossybox is a special dual-design box and it’s very pretty.

I’ve never tried dermaplaning but it’s something I’ve been thinking about for months so I’m actually nervous but excited to try these out!

There’s two razors included and instructions on the back and I’ve watched countless videos of dermaplaning on Instagram and TikTok so hopefully I should do it ok!

Wunderkiss essential lip scrub

My lips are always really dry come winter with central heating and cold weather so I tried this lip scrub immediately.

I love that it isn’t in a pot that you dip your finger in or a sticky tube which most lib scrubs are and you can twist it like a lip crayon when the tip starts to reduce.

You don’t need a lot of product on your lips for the scrub to start taking effect.

It has a combination of sugar particles and shea butter to hydrate and exfoliate and I really like it.

Paradoxxx detox restorative hair mask

This Detox Hair Mask, infused with provitamin B-5, will pack your hair with moisture and shine and reduce any brittleness and help strengthen your hair strands.

How to use: Add to wet or dry hair and leave for 30 minutes, before rinsing.  

I love a hair mask and the fact that this is reusable and vegan is even better as well as being 90% plastic-free.

You can leave it in your hair for as little as 30 minutes (more for THE shower or a bath) or overnight as an intensive mask.

Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser

I’ve never tried Cetaphil and see lots of influencers raving about it on Instagram and TikTok so I’m looking forward to giving this cleanser a try.

111Skin cryo de-puffing eye mask

These hydrogel masks will wrap around your eyes to banish the appearance of tiredness and dark circles and will work to reduce puffiness, strengthen your skin, slow ageing and boost cell function. 

How to use: Cleanse your skin, remove the film from both eye masks and place under each eye, leave under 20 minutes and remove.

I love an eye mask and after recently suffering from conjunctivitis (pink eye for Americans) my poor eyes are in dire need of some TLC.

I’m really happy with the design and contents of the January new horizons Glossybox.

The box itself is really pretty!

January is all about starting afresh and looking after yourself after a busy festive period.
