My overall thoughts on Playing For Her
Without a doubt, this was a five-star read for me. I devoured the entire book in just two sittings!
Playing for Her was my first book by Ellie White, but it certainly won’t be my last – I absolutely love her writing style.
Molly and Jordan’s story unfolding was captivating, and while football plays a central role, there is so much more to this book than just sport or romance.
It tackles deeper, meaningful themes in a way that feels both relevant and empowering.
Molly is a fantastic character, and I adored what she represents in a male-dominated workplace.
Her journey was so compelling, and even if you’re not a football or sports fan I think you’ll be ncompletely drawn in – cheering for both the team and the romance.
And as for the steamy scenes? They really are steamy!
The book’s North East setting made it even more enjoyable, and the themes explored feel incredibly relevant for 2025.
Whether or not you’re into football, this is an excellent, engaging read, and I cannot wait to see where the series goes next!
