Lacura Pink Clay Mask – review

I’ve been using the Lacura Pink Clay Mask by Aldi for months now and thought it was time to share an honest review.

Using the brush included, apply an even layer of Lacura purifying pink clay mask to clean, dry skin and allow to work for 10 minutes.

Rinse with warm water to reveal a brighter and radiant glow.

Use 1-2 times a week.

For best results store at room temperature.

Clean brush thoroughly after use with warm water and allow to air dry.

My overall thoughts on Lacura Pink Clay Mask

The Lacura Pink Clay Mask is an obvious dupe for the Sand & Sky Pink Clay Mask which I haven’t used but I know there’s hype around it.

The directions advise using this mask 1-2 times a week, and with a generous 60g worth of product, you’ll enjoy glowing skin for a while.

With the Sand & Sky mask coming in at £39.95 for 60g from Beauty Bay, the Aldi dupe is a fraction of the price at £5.99 for 60g it is a budget beauty lover’s dream.

This purifying mask claims to help draw out any impurities, refine pores and brighten your overall complexion.

It feels lovely and creamy to apply but isn’t runny so it stays on your skin.

The little brush included in the box is brilliant – it allows you to easily apply an even layer of the mask on your skin with very little mess.

Just make sure to rinse the brush under warm water straight after use to ensure it doesn’t get ruined.

The box advises you to leave the mask on for 10 minutes then rinse off with a warm flannel.

I like to apply the mask just before I get in the bath so I usually leave it on for closer to 20 minutes before removing.

Like most clay masks, you can feel the Lacura Pink Clay Mask tighten on your skin as you near the 10-minute mark.

I use a smooth, soft, warm damp flannel to remove the mask.

You may need to apply a bit of pressure to ensure you remove all of the mask.

It’s also worth mentioning that I didn’t find this to dry out my skin, which can happen with some budget clay masks.

Immediately after the first use I notice a difference in my skin.

My skin felt instantly radiant. I have quite enlarged pores, especially on my nose and chin, but they appeared to be much more refined after just one use.

The mask reduces redness and bumps and my skin feels and appears much less oily.

I’m now onto the second jar of this face mask as I’m such a big fan.

I wish I had time to use it two times a week but when I do use it I see and feel a noticeable difference in my skin.
