HomePlant review (AD)

HomePlant review (AD)

15th September 2019 4 By Rachael Stray

I was kindly sent my very first indoor plant to review by Mike the founder of HomePlant*.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the most green-fingered gal. Our gardens are pretty low maintenance for this exact reason.

However, I’m 30 and a mammy now so thought it was time to be a bit more of a real grown up.

HomePlant is a new North East business and Mike kindly sent me my first indoor plant, Kate.

I was able to track my delivery and Kate was very carefully packaged.

Kate arrived in a large cardboard box and was accompanied by a helpful note which introduced me to her and included detailed instructions on how to water, position and care for my new plant.

Kate goes by many names – snake plant, St George’s sword, viper’s bowstring hemp and mother-in-law’s tongue.

We’ve got Kate in our kitchen, I just need to get a nice plant pot for her.

She seems pretty low maintenance which is ideal for me as a busy new mammy.

I found the introductory accompanying note really helpful on how I can look after Kate and keep her healthy.

If I have any questions I know I can drop the folk at HomePlant an email and they will come back to me.

About HomePlant

HomePlant is a new business which is bringing beautiful indoor plants to the North East and beyond.

They promise no prickly returns, a flat delivery cost of £5 and free deliveries on orders over £50 so you can feel confident buying from them.

For those of you who aren’t green-fingered they will offer short, high quality videos on Instagram, YouTube and their website, and plenty of online articles too, in language that we can all understand.

And they will guide you through every step, from what to buy to where to put it to how to care for it so your new green buddies will thrive.

The HomePlant website will become fully functional from the autumn, but for now,
you could win £100 worth of plants by just entering your email address on the site to take part in the launch day prize draw.
