Facemasksclub – review (AD)
I was kindly gifted a box of seven sheet masks from Facemasksclub in exchange for an honest review*.
Being a huge advocate of self care and a big love of face masks I was over the moon to be asked if I would review a box of sheet masks from Facemasksclub.
And I couldn’t wait to get stuck in.

My overall thoughts on Facemasksclub
My Facemasksclub box arrived small enough to fit through the letterbox so this is ideal if you may not be in when your order arrives.

I love the pink box and my masks were carefully wrapped up in pretty tissue paper.

Opening the Facemasksclub box felt like a proper little treat.
I was over the moon with the variety of the sheet masks inside and couldn’t wait for a little self care pamper time!

What I love about sheet masks is that they are a real treat for your skin but you can crack on with whatever you need to do while the mask works its magic.
I like to do a sheet mask on a Sunday night and feel like it sets me up for the madness of Monday!

Steve does bedtime with Elsie on a Sunday night and because we’ve eaten tea together and the kitchen is all clean (hello Sunday reset) I have a little time for myself.
So while Steve potters upstairs, I do a little bit of admin on the laptop with a sheet mask on and then get some snacks ready to cosy up on the sofa with and watch some TV. Perfect.
This 20-30 minutes is just what I need to help me find some balance and calm before the week kicks off on a Monday.
While I have my sheet mask on I also get my home office set up for the next day, get the living room set up for us to relax in and usually have a few minutes left to read a chapter or two of my latest book.
And my skin gets a proper treat with no hard work from me!
The first sheet mask from Facemasksclub I used was the cucumber one which really helped to soothe and calm my skin which had been a little sensitive due to the recent heatwave – sun cream, sand from Elsie’s sand pit and stress does not make a nice combo for skin!

During the recent heatwave, I’ve been storing my sheet masks on the top shelf in the fridge which keeps them nice and chilled.
When you put the sheet mask on your face fresh from the fridge it is extra soothing on your face and instantly cools you down – an absolute treat during these warmer days!
Check the back of your sheet masks to see if they can also be gently heated up, the cucumber one I used first could be used cold or warm.
I like the idea of a warming sheet mask during those crisp wintry evenings.
Whether it is a treat for yourself, a gift to someone or a gift for you I think subscriptions are such a great idea.
If your Facemasksclub subscription is not pre-paid you can cancel it at any time which gives you flexibility which I think we all need at these uncertain times.
I’m now working my way through the other sheet masks on a Sunday evening and thoroughly enjoying each one.
