An End to Arguing – review (AD)
I was kindly given and electronic copy of An End to Arguing by Linda and Charlie Bloom in exchange for an honest review*.

An End to Arguing book blurb
Now more than ever, couples need guidance for navigating conflict wisely and skillfully.
Drawing on insights from their work with couples since 1975, the Blooms offer practical tools and strategies that apply to all relationships.
An End to Arguing convincingly shows how destructive conflicts can be avoided, and provides stimulus for individual and interpersonal growth.
They use compelling examples from their clinical work and their own fifty-year marriage, which has had its share of challenges.
An End to Arguing doesn’t just provide a way of preventing differences from turning into painful conflict; it gives the reader an insight into what qualities are inherent in argument-free relationships. T
he way of getting there may be simpler than you think!

My overall thoughts on An End to Arguing
An End to Arguing is a book that actually offers real, practical help to couples in a way that can be put into action.
Linda and Charlie look at what triggers arguments and how each individual of a couple can take accountability for their own actions, stop blaming, and get busy doing the things that will actually change the arguing dynamic in a relationship.
The layout of the book is very attractive in that the tips and tools are presented in short chapters that can be easily digested in a few minutes each.
You can open it to any page and get immediate help.
Linda and Charlie generously share how they have managed to sustain a healthy, dynamic and loving relationship spanning more than 50 years.
They are authentic and compassionate and I really liked the real-life examples that are littered throughout the pages that provide context and clarity.
Probably most importantly, they offer hope that you can too have a healthy and happy relationship despite the every day ups and downs of married life!
This is the type of book that is useful to have to hand to dip in and out of as different challenges arise so you can help navigate the storms better together.
I will absolutely be referring back to it.
