Unboxing December 25 Glossybox

There’s something undeniably magical about unboxing a December Glossybox.

It always feels that little bit more special, a final monthly treat before the year wraps up — and this month definitely didn’t disappoint.

In fact, the first thing to catch my eye wasn’t even a product… it was the beautiful red makeup bag everything arrived in.

Glossybox really nailed the festive vibes with this one.

What was inside the December Glossybox?

Spectrum Collections – Burgundy A70 Large Domed Shader Brush (Worth £8.99)

If you’ve been around here a while, you’ll know I’m a sucker for a good makeup brush — and Spectrum never miss.

The A70 domed shader brush is so fluffy and unbelievably soft. It feels like it’s doing half the blending work for you.

The burgundy handle also ties in nicely with the whole December theme. A lovely addition to my collection.

FUL – Shine & Gloss Cream (Worth £12)

Winter is not kind to my hair, so I’m always happy to see anything promising shine and smoothness.

This Shine & Gloss Cream is lightweight, smells lush, and doesn’t leave that dreaded greasy residue.

A tiny dollop goes a long way, so this is going straight into my haircare routine.

Basic Beauty – Eyeshadow Duo ‘Bronzy Duo’ (Worth £14.90)

There’s something really satisfying about a compact that clicks shut properly (yes, I’m that person).

The Bronzy Duo shades are warm, wearable, and great for quick everyday looks or something a bit smokier for festive nights out.

A safe, flattering pair of colours that I know I’ll actually use — always a win.

Sophia + Mabelle – Lipstick ‘Dolly Pink’ (Worth £13.40)

This was one of my favourite items in the box. The lipstick packaging is simple but so pretty, and the shade ‘Dolly Pink’ is absolutely perfect for me.

Not too bold, not too pale — just that ideal slightly rosy winter pink.

What impressed me most, though, was the formula. It’s so hydrating.

My lips tend to suffer in the cold especially here in the North East of England, but this feels buttery and comfortable while still giving great colour payoff.

I’ve already popped it into my handbag.

Avant Skincare – Pink Orchid Overnight Serum OR Gentle Rose Exfoliant (Worth up to £92!)

Glossybox gave a bit of a mix here depending on whether you’re a new or existing customer.

New subscribers receive a random pick while existing customers received the Pink Orchid Subtle Restoring Overnight Serum.

I’m an existing customer — so it was the latter for me.

Either way, an Avant product worth nearly £90 landing in a beauty box is always a little bit exciting.

Their skincare is luxurious and feels like a proper treat at the end of a long day.

Final Thoughts

Overall, December’s Glossybox was a brilliant mix of makeup, skincare and haircare — exactly what I want this time of year.

The red makeup bag really pulled everything together and felt like an early Christmas present.

Every product is something I’ll genuinely use, which isn’t always the case with subscription boxes, so this month was a big success for me.

Soft brushes, wearable shades, hydrating lipstick, festive packaging — honestly, what’s not to love?
