My overall thoughts on The Girl in the Mustard Coat

I couldn’t put it down. This is a great thrilling read.

The story starts off back in 2005 on the day Sophie’s sister goes missing and then we’re in the present day 13 years on where Sophie’s life has never really recovered following the murder of her younger sister.

Her life is spiralling – she splits up with her boyfriend, her mum dies and she discoverers she’s pregnant all within a few weeks.

If that isn’t enough drama for one woman her sisters murder becomes front page news once again.

Sophie while dealing with a problematic pregnancy teams up with the retired lead cop from her sister’s murder investigation, her brother and estranged father in a quest to finally uncover the truth behind her sister’s tragic demise.

Who kidnapped, raped and strangled Beth?

I found myself greedily reading this book. I was hungry to find out the truth.

This is a really good gripping read that really had me hooked from the beginning.
