Simba Hybrid Pillow – review (AD)

Simba Hybrid Pillow – review (AD)

31st May 2024 0 By Rachael Stray

I was kindly given two Simba Hybrid Pillows in exchange for an honest review*.

We’ve been using our gifted Simba Hybrid duvet since February and I was so thrilled to also try out the pillows.

As part of my 5 intentions for 2024 I want to up my game when it comes to self-care and a big part of that is making sure I get enough good quality sleep which is why I was so excited to try out the Simba Hybrid Pillows.

About the Simba Hybrid® Pillow

The Simba Hybrid® Pillow is unlike typical memory foam pillows, you can adjust it to your preferred height and softness thanks to the innovative Nanocube® inner pillow.

It also features a soft, outer sleeve of Simba Renew Bio™ and a cotton cover with Stratos® ‘cool-touch’ tech.

My overall thoughts on the Simba Hybrid® Pillow

My Simba Hybrid Pillows were dispatched and delivered very quickly once ordered and I couldn’t wait to open them up.

They were packaged well and each encased in a sturdy storage bag made from recycled materials and I will definitely be putting the storage bags to good use!

I noticed straight away that the Simba Hybrid Pillow was very different to any other pillow I have used before.

And I couldn’t wait to get it on my bed and to test it out for myself.

The Hybrid Pillow features a removable, cotton cover, with Stratos® cool-touch technology on one side which means the pillow stays cool to the touch.

It also features a cushioning outer sleeve of soft, Simba Renew Bio™ fibres to support comfort and assist air flow and an adjustable inner core of tiny Nanocubes®  which are cubed shape and foam structure to allow adjustable support with optimum airflow.

And a breathable mesh border enables fresh air to circulate through the pillow’s layers.

However you like to sleep, the Simba Hybrid®Pillow is designed to support you.

The pillow is fully adjustable, with a Nanocube filling that you can alter yourself, depending on your sleep position and preference.

If you’re a front sleeper you will need softer support so Simba recommends you remove 8-10 handfuls of Nanocubes.

Back sleepers need a pillow that is medium-firm, to raise your head slightly ensuring spinal alignment so Simba recommends you remove up to 4-6 handfuls of Nanocubes.

A firm pillow is an optimum support for side sleepers as the pillow needs to raise your head in line with your spine so lucky me my pillow arrived firm with all its Nanocubes – just right!

Your delivery also includes a small bag to store and wash your Nanocubes.

Before using the Simba Hybrid pillows I used to sleep with two pillows but now I only sleep with one.

The pillow is firmer than what I’m used to but I find it really comfortable and find it supports my neck so much better!

With the weather warming up I’ve ensured the side with Stratos® cool-touch technology is facing up so I get the benefit of a cooler pillow all night.

You really can feel the difference on this pillow – one side is definitely cooler to the touch than the other.

We’ve been using the Simba Hybrid pillows for a few weeks now and I’m absolutely sold.

Coupled up with the Simba Hybrid duvet I am so excited for bedtime to get a good nights sleep (4-year-old waking up dependent).

It is also worth checking out the Simba website from time to time as there’s regular special offers.

A huge thank you to Simba for these gifted Hybrid pillows and for making going to bed even more desirable!
