Is the M&S beauty advent calendar worth the money?
For the very first time I treated myself to a beauty advent calendar and I opted for the M&S one – is it worth the money?
I’ve seen others enjoy the M&S beauty advent calendar in previous years and I’ve kicked myself for not getting one.
After seeing Martin Lewis the money saving expert recommend it as one of the best value beauty advent calendars, I thought 2022 is the year I treat myself and see for myself if it’s worth the money.
About the M&S beauty advent calendar
Inside the M&S calendar is a carefully curated edit of 25 products and the estimated value of the contents is around £300, meaning shoppers can save roughly £260 on the beauty haul.

It includes brands like Clinique, REN and L’Occitane.
In order to get the M&S beauty advent calendar for the discounted price of £40, you had to spend more than £30 on clothing, home or beauty either online or in store.
Personally, I bought some thermal essentials that I wanted anyway but you could get some Christmas shopping and then this treat for yourself.

Designed with reusability and affordability at the heart, the 2022 M&S Beauty Advent Calendar featured a pink and gold chest design, ideal for storing all your favourite beauty products well after advent is over.

The lid lifts to reveal half of the boxes containing the luxury beauty products and a full-size mirror (make sure to peel the blue protective film off) while the other half were concealed in a pull-out drawer.

This advent calendar is ready to repurpose straight away which I think is great.
What products were inside the M&S beauty advent calendar?

So is the M&S beauty advent calendar worth the money?
Really it costs £70 for the M&S beauty advent calendar with the £30 spend to qualify for the discounted £40 price tag, however I do think it is worth the money.
The thermal essentials I purchased were on my shopping list anyway so I didn’t begrudge spending the qualifying £30.
And the products included within this beauty advent calendar are definitely worth more than £40 and I think there’s a good variety too.

You can also repurpose the box it comes in and the little numbered boxes too.

I really like that it goes up to Christmas Day itself – you get 25 beauty treats when many others are for 12 or 24 days only.

The nail varnishes are full size and really lovely shades I used them both pretty much straight away.
I’m excited to try the fragrances and the Clinque products to see if they live up to the hype.

There’s beauty treats that cover you from head to toe included within this advent calendar, I’m looking forward to giving my locks some TLC with the Philip Kingsley products.

There’s also some brands I’m not too familiar with that I’m looking forward to trying out.
If you’re thinking of getting a beauty advent calendar this year, I would definitely recommend the M&S beauty advent calendar but be quick they sell out really quickly!
