Hunkemöller swimsuit review (AD)

Hunkemöller swimsuit review (AD)

5th June 2019 4 By Rachael Stray

As the weather hots up and summer is almost here it was great timing when Hunkemöller kindly gifted me a gorgeous swimsuit*.

After Steve kindly measured me as my body shape has definitely changed during the pregnancy I submitted my measurements and awaited my surprise delivery.

I was kindly gifted a Sunset Dream Ocean Swimsuit which comes in a choice of three colours, black, blue or red.

I really like the shade of blue of the swimsuit.

The straps are a little thicker than many costumes and are adjustable. Once on the straps are comfortable and do not dig into the skin.

I’m 8 months pregnant now but this swimsuit actually fits! I was amazed. It’s 80% Polyamide and 20% Elastane and it feels so comfortable on.

The figure control in the tummy works – even on my baby bump and again feels comfortable.

It’s non-wired with non-removable padding in the bust and you feel supported but it still looks stylish.

I felt that the swimsuit gave me a nice shape even when quite late on in pregnancy and it looks lovely too.

I’ll definitely be using this swimsuit to go swimming once the baby is here and I know I will feel confident as the figure control seems to work so well.

This swimsuit is available from a size 10 up to a size 20 and costs £40 full price.

My order arrived within a couple of days and was delivered by UPS. As I wasn’t in it was sent to UPS collection centre, a corner shop a short drive away.

Annoyingly I’d just missed the delivery driver by a few minutes but I was able to collect my parcel the same day from the shop which was great.

I’m familiar with the Hunkemöller brand as I’ve been wearing these gorgeous jersey pyjama bottoms since October which they kindly gifted me in return for an honest review.

The quality of their products is really good. And even though I’m 8 months pregnant these pyjama bottoms are still comfortable to wear now – I wore them for bed last night.
