Sarah’s Ice Cream Parlour – review
During our recent trip along the beautiful Northumberland coast we finally made it to Sarah’s Ice Cream Parlour, after my friend Kellie recommended it – her family are big fans and now we can see why!
Where to find Sarah’s Ice Cream Parlour
The parlour opened in 2020 and is tucked away on Lambertslee Farm near Christon Bank, right on the crossroads for Newton-by-the-Sea and Beadnell.
It’s in such a great spot – surrounded by fields with big skies and gorgeous views.
Ice cream with a view
Sarah’s serves seven flavours each day from Warkworth’s Morwick Dairy, always including at least one sorbet.
The flavours change daily, which keeps things interesting and means there’s always something new to try.
Elsie and Steve went for the classic plain flavour while I couldn’t resist the chocolate – and they were absolutely delicious.
Sitting outside with ice cream in hand and those stunning Northumberland views really made it extra special.
More than just ice cream
While the ice cream is definitely the star of the show, Sarah’s also serves hot and cold drinks plus a selection of sweet and savoury snacks.
It’s the perfect pit stop whether you’re after a quick coffee, a bite to eat, or a refreshing scoop on a sunny day.

Opening hours can vary so it’s best to keep an eye on their Facebook page before you set off.
We thought it was well worth a visit – a lovely, relaxed spot to enjoy a treat and take in the scenery.
